Yes! All of the accommodations on the property are reserved for our wedding. However, there are a limited number of rooms for accommodating guests on the venue property, but we recommend other accommodation options under ‘Accommodations’ on our website. Rooms on the venue property range in price and style from suites to rooms. You will need to book directly with the hotel once the rooms are released on May 1 (pending availability), after invitations are sent out and we receive your RSVPs. We will communicate with you directly once rooms open up for booking.

For our wedding weekend there is a 2-night minimum requirement (Friday & Saturday).

Oceanstone Resort is just under an hour drive from the Halifax International Airport. You can take a taxi or Uber from the airport or if you wish to rent a car, there are several car rental outlets at the airport.

Having access to a car will provide you with more freedom and allow you to discover things to do nearby. There are multiple car rental outlets at the airport you can rent from. Our venue is nestled in a rural area so there is no public transport or easily accessible Ubers or taxis. You can call a taxi or Uber to the venue, but due to the location, it is recommended to pre-book a taxi ahead of time. There is ample parking available on site.

For our welcome BBQ on Friday, we want you to be relaxed and comfortable! We encourage smart-casual (but really we would just prefer that you don’t show up in a t-shirt). Jeans are totally welcome as it might be cooler in the evening next to the ocean. For our wedding & reception on Saturday, we encourage cocktail dresses or semi-formal for the ladies and gentlemen can wear a jacket or suit with a tie. The wedding ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside and the dinner & dance will be inside and on an outside terrace.

Generally, September in Nova Scotia can be relatively warm. As our venue is right on the ocean, you can expect a cool breeze. Layers are recommended!
